Update time

I assume it is time to give everyone in internet land an update on my super exciting adventure filled life…(note sarcasim) Things are going pretty well around here. I am very excited that we are going to have another little girl to raise and spoil. Her big sister is very upset that we won’t be naming her Melody…Where she developed a love for the name Melody will probably remain a mystery since we don’t really know anyone with that name…I don’t think, but if we do, sorry, Melody…

I have to mention the super fun double birthday party we attended over the weekend! Collin and Olivia celebrated their 1st and 3rd birthdays. It’s kinda interesting that there is a string of consecutive birthdays in the month of April for their family.  I don’t think it was planned that way, the good Lord just decided to give that set of Graves something interesting to talk about at parties. You know, when someone asks you something crazy about yourself, they can always mention that Collin, their dad and Olivia celebrate their birthdays with a 3 day party.

Next on the list is “The Great Kitchen Destruction” that is about to take place at our house.  You know I can’t just stop at the living room, heck..I haven’t even changed the color of it yet. Why wait to start a new major project when you haven’t finished the one before it? I do think that I have decided on a greenish color for it though. The kitchen is going to get a new tile floor, counter top and a mosaic backsplash.  If you have been to my house, you know how I feel about the kitchen. It’s not bad in any way, I am just a spoiled little brat girl that wants a new kitchen.  I’m sure there will be more updates on this as things start moving along.

Finally, we are gearing up for VACATION! We are going earlier this year since I don’t want to be a big fat pregnant miserable person that is hot and sweaty. I won’t be telling the internet when we are going because that would be stupid….You never know who reads this thing, but If you do read it and you want to break into my house and steal my new tile, someone will be here every single day that we are gone. We also have great neighbors that will be on the lookout!!  We are going back to Seagrove Beach this year. It’s a big family vacation, so we rented a nice big house on the beach. The kiddos are going to love it because it has a private pool and they can swim until they pass out.  Which will be good for the grown ups since passed out kids don’t whine much.

I guess that’s all for now. It’s time for me to go outside and dig in the dirt a little. Hope you all are having a great week!
